“Wow! What an magical place, I had no idea this was here!” Courtney exclaimed while we were exploring around (and photographing) her and her partner: Alex. We decided on Knapsack Bridge & Viaduct in between Lapstone and Emu Plains for an Blue Mountains Engagement Photography Session and boy am I glad we did! It’s the most amazing location filled with ferns and greenery, as well the beautiful sandstone viaducts from the actual historical bridge itself. If you haven’t been there yet, you must go! There are quite a few walking tracks and it’s a great place to take kids if they need to burn off a little energy.
A huge shoutout to Courtney (who was in heeled boots) and Alex who were up for the adventure, as well as being such amazing legends and were climbing up and down massive hills for the perfect photo. Sometimes getting the right image takes a little bit of work and they were such troopers trusting me (and my craziness haha!). As you can see from the photos it was totally worth it!! 😀 Knapsack Bridge & Viaduct is really such an amazing place for a photo session! 😀
As light was falling into night, we also played around with some sparklers (who doesn’t love playing with sparklers!?). Sparklers just add an air of magic and intimacy about them in photos, be it wedding or engagement photos, which I think you would agree with from the below photos (I’m just a little biased 😛 )
I honestly cannot wait to photograph Courtney & Alex’s upcoming wedding. If it was anything like their engagement session it’s going to be a barrel of laughs with an awesome party afterwards. Bring it on! 😀
If you’re after an Blue Mountains Engagement Photography Session or Blue Mountains Wedding Photography, please do get in touch, I would love to hear from you!! 😀
