Hela & Ali came to visit Australia from the middle east for their honeymoon, how cool is that!? They chose to stay at the Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley and absolutely loved the serenity of the place as well as all the amazing wildlife that is around. Hela & Ali wanted some photos as a newlywed couple to commemorate their time in Australia so we met up one afternoon to do the photoshoot. It looked like it was going to rain so I asked Hela and Ali if they wanted to go ahead, they both eagerly wanted to, despite the looming bad weather, they explained that they never get rain where they live so it’s been amazing to experience it in Australia. Say what? Rain doesn’t bother me so we all happily went ahead with the photoshoot (One of my good friends who originally from northern England and she can’t believe how most Aussies give up on outdoor activities as soon as a bit of rain comes down whereas everyone in her country goes on regardless otherwise they would get nothing done…… I can’t say I can disagree with her, she does have a valid point haha!)
While we were doing the photoshoot, they mentioned that they had 1000 people attend their wedding! -And it goes for a number of days. Talk about wow!! I always LOVE hearing how other cultures/people celebrate weddings and hearing about the traditions. Ali was saying there is one day where people come and go to congratulate the couple and enjoy a meal which is provided the whole day, sounds like my kind of party! Haha!
We were lucky enough the rain wasn’t too heavy and that there was a clearing in the sky at exactly the right time to produce the MOST AMAZING sunset! Sometimes you can get really lucky with rainy days with sunsets! We had a great walk-around and the kangaroo’s even came up to say hi! So awesome! 😀
If you are after a Blue Mountains portrait photography session or a photography session at a location of your choice, get in touch! I would love to hear from you! 🙂
