Blue Mountains weather is always unpredictable, you never know what you’re going to get, one day it can be a balmy 35 Degrees to the next day being windy and cold (but I wouldn’t have it any other way!) I met up with Lisa & Aaron and their beautiful kids for a portrait session after a huge bout of rain, I honestly didn’t think the portrait session would go ahead. But being classic mountains weather it cleared up that day and we were able to do the portrait session, yay!
We met up at Aaron’s dad and step-mums’ property out at Rydal, if you are planning a wedding you might have heard of it: Seclusions. It really is so beautiful out there. Seclusions isn’t just for weddings, you can also organise a couples getaway in one of their spa cabins, it’s seriously amazing!!
We had a super fun and cheeky afternoon! Oh to see the world from a child’s point of view! When you’re spending time with kids, it really makes you let your hair down and and not take life so seriously! I absolutely loved Ellie’s cheekiness and playful nature. Zac has this wonderment for life and is always looking around trying to take it all in. We really had a ball that afternoon (and it didn’t rain, yeah!). We also came across some rose petals that had been leftover from a wedding the day before in the ceremony location, so of course we had to throw them in the air! Ellie’s cheeky grin say’s it all. 🙂
If you’re after a Blue Mountains portrait photography session of your family either somewhere on location (we are spoilt for choice in the mountains!) or even your home, click here to get in touch, I would love to hear from you! 🙂
