I know I’ve said it before, but I just love Kelvin Homestead! It is a beautiful wedding venue location set on 7 acres. Many people also don’t know but it is also one of Australia’s oldest privately owned residences (which makes it perfect to host your own wedding!) The homestead was built in 1820 (crazy right!?)
They have the most beautiful barn that can be used to host your event. Or you can utilise the grounds surrounding, which are all picture perfect!
I love seeing the change in the wedding industry where couple’s are steering away from traditional wedding venue’s and hiring a property for the weekend to do their own twist of things. I mean, it’s your day right!? You don’t have to do what everyone is telling you to do! -especially with this food truck movement, you can hire one to cater for your event, how cool is that!? Don’t be scared to do something a little different and more suited to your personalities. Want to wear a red wedding dress? Do it! Want to have different cheese rounds as your cake because you don’t like sweet things, Do it! Just want a small bonfire with close mates to celebrate, do it. Step away from the norm and be bold. Your day, your way 🙂
We all had so much creating this shoot, “your intimate wedding festival”. It seriously a barrel of laughs! I was so, so, so fournate to work with these creatives. Thanks for making the day absolutely perfect!
