Aaron started working at the local pub and noticed a really cute bar girl working there. That cute girl was Lisa. They started to get to know each other over pouring wine for customers, before they knew it they were pouring wine themselves and getting to know each other outside the pub. That was 10 years ago and nothing much has changed, they are still lovers of wine and each other so it was only fitting to get married in the Hunter Valley!
They married at the Sebel on Kirkton Park. Lisa & Aaron’s wedding day started off with gale force winds but by the time the ceremony came around the winds completely stopped and the sun even came out to say hello (awww!) They decided to incorporate a tree planting ritual in to their ceremony (how cool is that!?) with the intention of planting it in their backyard when its big enough. It’s such a beautiful idea and wonderful way to watch your love grow (yes insert corny line but its true! haha!) We were lucky the winds mainly calmed down for the rest of the day and the Sebel is such a beautiful place to go exploring for photos too!
We also had one of the most spectacular sunsets I had ever seen, you know the one’s where it takes your breath away at the beauty of it? Yep one of those ones! Lucky Lisa and Aaron were up to going outside during the reception for a few photos outside during the sunset, ahhhh so much photographer love!!!! The rest of the night was one awesome party with lots of great tasting wine (it being the Hunter Valley and all 😉 ) long into the night 🙂
