“By the way, my name is Lucy!” Lucy yelled out while the handsome nurse, she just met while on work placement, walked away. From there, their romance blossomed. Paul proposed on their overseas holiday to Europe on Christmas eve while ice skating in front of the Eiffel tower (how amazing does that sound!?). Because the ice was so cold Paul didn’t bend down on one knee, until Lucy made him do it on one knee to make it official 😉 (hehe I think I would have done the exact same! :-P)
Lucy and Paul had the most beautiful early spring wedding, Lucy started the day getting ready in the stunning family home she grew up in then met Paul to get married at Australia’s Oldest Church: Ebenezer Church in which Paul’s ancestors actually help build (how amazing is that!!) There was even a plaque with his family’s names inscribed, there is such an incredible history and then to get married there, simply incredible!! The reception was held at Lucy’s grandparents place on the most breathtaking property in Mt Wilson, which is nestled within the Blue Mountains.
*We all had a chuckle as some guests decided to take the little row boat out on to the lake on the property but they had no idea the reception was starting and we all could see them get stuck! Oh it was great, we all cheered when they finally entered, life is too short to be so serious all the time! 🙂 It also made me imagine how lovely it would be to spend beautiful sunny Sunday afternoons out on the lake with the row boat just relaxing and enjoying life, sounds like total bliss!! I think I need to get myself a lake and a row boat now! 😛
